Overall I am not a happy customer, at all, and still have to drive what's probably an unsafe vehicle while I save up for a second and CORRECT repair with my family ourselves. Whatever! I'm not going back in there, I'll eat the bill and pay for the work that was done. He's just lucky I don't report him to the Connecticut DMV for unnecessary repairs.

first of all if you call the automated number they schedule an appointment but when you get there they know nothing about your appointment. second if you're a female you will be treated as if you are stupid. he naturally assumed I went to AutoZone to get my codes read you have to be a complete jackass! I have been doing my own homework for years concerning cars. they try to trick you into going in by telling you that they will read the code for your check engine light which you can easily do yourself. they will tell you what the code is what but they won't give you a diagnosis without paying for it. which automatically put them to strike three. I'm glad it went down the way it did quick thinking got me out of there fast. if you have a reliable friend or you can do the work yourself do it

She asked if I had time so the tech could bring my car in and look at it to see what my car needed she said that she didn't want to give me an estimate with out a tech looking at it cause she didn't want to give me an estimate if that wasn't the problem. When the tech looked at it they told me that what o asked for for an estimate wasn't what was wrong all it was was my heat shield was loose they asked me do u want me to take it off for you I asked how much would you charge the manager laughed ( jokingly) said I'm not going to charge you. I was very happy and will be returning. They are not rude and deff not money hungry. Who ever says the girl at the front is rude you prolly were rude to her because not once did anyone there have an attitude. They were very nice. Go to meineke in Meriden they will work with you and won't lie to you. The 19.95 oil change is on selected cars and as lo g as u have a coupon and not a full synthic car they will do it I herd the girl on the phone talk g to a customer. Don't listen to people with this shity reviews you need to experience the shop ur self and u will see they aren't bad. And they do care.

G bless you

FOREWARNING! DO NOT GO HERE! Please take the time to read this story before you take your vehicle here. I have a 2003 Cavalier that had been sitting for a few years in the driveway. Cavalier is making loud knocking and springing noises when the wheel is cut sharp to the right. After this happens, it wants to pull to the right when driving as if the alignment is off. Turn it all the way back to the left, noises repeat themselves, and car drives straight again. Family gear heads suspect steering knuckle or strut. After such a bad experience with the previous car, and being tired of waiting on the availability of my family, I foolishly take it to these bozos. I'll let the "professionals" handle it this time. I'm starting to make a life for myself and will finally have a good, stable car, I figure. The owner, Nate, tells me it's a bad axle and some tie rods. Between parts and labor it would be to the tune of $450 somewhere. Said he'd include the price of alignment to help out. Ok, all fine, they say it'll be a couple hours. I tell them I'll go and work a short shift at my second job and that I'd be back shortly after 5 to pick it up. I get a call around 4 from Nate saying the reason the axle went bad is because my transmission mount that it goes into is no good. I get there shortly after 5 and he shows me what supposedly is wrong with the transmission mount. Says the bushings are bad but I don't have to worry about them right now. Now it's an $800 bill and won't be fixed until tomorrow when the new tranny mount comes in. Well, the next day I'm scheduled to work all day so I send my mother to pick up the car for me and to swipe my card and pay the bill.

Did me right fixed my u joint and got me Rollin in 2hrs. Thank you so much without them I was stranded with no way out

I went to meineke in Meriden today, to get an estimate on some work I have read the reviews so I wanted to see for my self so I can write a true review. I told the girl at the front desk what I wanted and how much would it be to fix. She was very polite and explained to me that with out looking at the car she couldn't give me a proper estimate

The manager and his wife are so nice and helpful. Im glad i didn't listen to these neg reviews its customers that give them attitudes and the customers turn the reviews around and say it is them and its not.

I'm excited to drive the car to work a few days (and $800 on my credit card) later to find that my car is acting the exact same way. Same noises, same alignment going in and out issue. It's as if nothing was done at all. I know there's new parts because I saw them the other day when I went back to the shop. But they are obviously NOT the problem! I mean, this problem is pretty obvious. It's not an intermittent problem. Did they ever even try cutting the wheel? Did they even bother to take it for a test drive? If they did, they got one hell of a nerve giving it back to me like that. Either way, it speaks volumes about what really happened here. I know all about upselling and the hocus pocus big companies push on people, no matter what store it is. I made every indication I was OK with that, and would be the ideal customer, so long as the problem I was having was fixed. I had previously brought the cavalier here a few days prior to all of this to have it's breaks bled and he tried to blame it on the same issue both then and now when I brought it in for the actual job. On both occasions it was clarified by me to be a knocking/springing sound coming from the PASSENGER side, not clicking from the DRIVER side as he said where the majority of his unnecessary repairs were done. I decided to trust the shop who would know better. That trust was misplaced. Seems to me what probably happened here is that this cocky buffoon decided he knew what it was before actually trying because he wanted to sell an axle/tie rod service from the start. Bet when he reads this he'll feel like a real dope. I should probably take the car back in and make a big stink and ask for my money back or a free repair for what actually needs to be done. Of which, I've since had inspected by the family mechanic and was told it's a simple issue with a strut locking up, on -very noticeably-, the PASSENGER side.
