A well maintained trail and beautiful lake great views. Not busy at all so have your a camp fire and fry the fish you catch lakeside have to fire craft your own thoe which I personally love
The park is a few trails that circle a lake and lead to a couple small peaks with gorgeous views. The trails are well marked and well kept, the blue trail up Chauncey Peak has a couple moderate inclines and some rocks to scramble up but is a great easy hike even for younger kids. From different scenic viewpoints you can see all of Meriden to the southwest and some of Hartford to the northeast.
If you want/need to take a break from the busy areas of Meriden then Giuffrida park is highly recommended. Quite from all the noise of cars and ideal place for a hike. Keep it clean please.
