Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. The kitchenette was very handy. We arrived late and there was a small line at the front desk, but the associate helped everyone quickly and was very friendly. Nice breakfast, though the breakfast area was a little crowded. We would stay here again.
The Hawthorn Suites in Meriden, CT. could not have been more ideal. The check in was smooth and friendly. They were very efficient and helpful. They were quick to point out everything the hotel had to offer and seemed ready to answer any question we had about the area. Also, plenty of great parking that always felt 100% safe.
Our client Kris Phakousonh recently stayed here while performing nearby, and really enjoyed the clean and quiet room, especially after traveling all day before performing that night. There was plenty of parking despite how busy they were, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was also a free breakfast in the morning to get the next day started right!

The room was clean and spacious. A separate bedroom with a huge living room was really great. I was very pleased to see it was paired with a great kitchen that came complete with a full fridge and a dishwasher. The whole experience from the room to the staff was very comforting and I would absolutely stay at the Hawthorne Suites again.
Overall the hotel is nice. Feels newish and has a good breakfast. Location of the hotel was idea for our trip. The worst part is the lackluster housekeeping of the common areas. I would see the same mess for two days before someone cleaned it up. They also do not have maid service on Saturday or Sunday. Every room is equipped with a small kitchen, which can be nice. The bad side of that is that the hallways smell of everything everyone is cooking. And on our third night, someone burnt something and the smell was trapped on the second floor with is.
